Treasury Department
The Treasury Department is responsible for all matters relating to the finances and accounts of the States of Alderney. The States General Office also comes under the Treasurers responsibility.
The States Treasurer is Kerry Hatcher- Gaudion.
Specific responsibilities of the Treasury include:-
To ensure the proper management and administration of the Financial, Human Resources and ITC resources of the States of Alderney, together with the administration and management of some of the Transferred Services (Tax and Social Security) that are provided in Alderney by the States of Guernsey.
To provide advice to the various States Committees and Sub- Committees and to the Chief Executive Officer on all financial and budgetary matters.
To prepare the annual Budget and year end accounts.
To administer Treasury and administrative service provision including payroll, pension scheme and financial transactions.
To administer all aspects of revenue generation and collection including debt collection and management for the States of Alderney and States of Guernsey departments.
