2003 - 2005 - History of the Royal Navy

This set of commemorative coins celebrates the History of the Royal Navy, featuring famous ships and naval leaders. The issue commenced towards the end of 2003 and finished in 2005 to coincide with the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. There are six available designs which feature the following: The Mary Rose Alfred the Great HMS Revenge Viscount Samuel Hood HMS Warspite Sandy Woodward Raphael Maklouf` elegant portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
