TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with the decision made on 5th March 2009, the General Services Committee has, under the provisions of the above mentioned Ordinance, made Regulations to increase the maximum level of taxi fares that may be levied on the island
These Regulations which are entitled “The Public Vehicle (Amendment) Regulations” come into force on 23rd April 2009.
The full text of the Regulations is available for inspection in the office of the Chief Executive and the States General Office.

Contracts for weddings, funerals, parties etc. are negotiable with the taxi operator. IMPORTANT
In the event of any complaint in respect of
- i) Overcharging
- ii) The driver of the vehicle
- iii) The vehicle itself
Please inform a Police Officer, stating registration of vehicle.
