LCL International Life Assurance Company Limited (“LCLI”)

TAKE NOTICE that Finistere and LCLI intend to apply to the Royal Court on 14 December 2010 at 10.15am for the sanction of the Royal Court pursuant to section 44 of the Insurance Business Law and for ancillary orders pursuant to section 48 of the Insurance Business Law in respect of a scheme for the transfer by Finistere to LCLI of the entire long term insurance business of Finistere.  Copies of the application to the Royal Court and the report on the terms of the scheme by the independent actuary are available for inspection at all reasonable times at the offices of Mourant Ozannes, 1 Le Marchant Street, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 4HP.  Copies of the report of the independent actuary are also available for collection at the same address.  Copies of the application and the said report can also be viewed by visiting www.lcl-ila.com/transfer. Any person (including, without limitation, any employee of Finistere or LCLI) alleging that he would be adversely affected by the carrying out of the scheme is entitled to oppose the application to the Royal Court at that time.
