AS AMENDED (THE "INSURANCE LAW")
PRUDENTIAL HOLBORN LIFE LIMITED
- and -
PRUDENTIAL (AN) LIMITED
- and -
THE PRUDENTIAL ASSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED
(together "the Parties")

NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 47
OF THE INSURANCE LAW

TAKE NOTICE that the Royal Court of Guernsey (the "Court") on Thursday 28 October 2010 made an order under Section 44 of the Insurance Law sanctioning a scheme (the "Scheme") and gave approval for the execution of any instrument necessary to give effect to the Scheme for the following transfers of long term insurance business (insofar as they comprise policies held by residents of the Bailiwick of Guernsey):
  1. the transfer of the whole of the long term insurance business carried on by Prudential (AN) Limited to The Prudential Assurance Company Limited ("PAC"); and

  2. the transfer of the whole of the long term insurance business carried on by Prudential Holborn Life Limited to PAC.
AND the Court further ordered that any policyholder who wishes to exercise any right to cancel their policy must do so within 21 days of the date of the publication or display of this Notice.
