The Guernsey Kart and Motor Club LBG is planning to stage another Sprint and Hill Climb event in Alderney this year on Friday 19th September and Saturday 20th September 2008.

Please note that the General Services Committee has authorised the following road closures:-

19th September - Sprint

Between 0800 and 1800 hours - the road from Whitegates (Hammond Memorial) to Mannez Lighthouse.

20th September - Hill Climb

Between 0800 and 1800 hours - the road junction Petit Val/Platte Saline to the top of Tourgis Hill.

ALDERNEY ROAD TRAFFIC AND PUBLIC HIGHWAYS ORDINANCE, 1966

TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with the decision made on 15th July 2008, the General Services Committee has, under the provisions of the above mentioned Ordinance, made Regulations to create a parking disc zone on the western side of Braye Street.

These Regulations which are entitled "The Alderney Road Traffic and Public Highways (Amendment) Regulations, 2008" come into force on 4th August 2008.

The full text of the Regulations is available for inspection in the office of the Chief Executive and the States General Office.
