COUNTRYWIDE ASSURED PLC ("CA")

(together the "Parties")

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Section 47 of the Insurance Business (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002 that on 28 December 2011 the Royal Court of Guernsey granted the application of SPI and SPP and CA  for the sanction pursuant to Section 44 of the Insurance Business (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002 of a Scheme for the transfer of the long term insurance business of SPI and SPP in respect of policies written under Guernsey law or issued to a resident of the Bailiwick of Guernsey to CA, and that any policyholder who wishes to exercise any right that they may have to cancel a policy transferred by the Scheme must do so within 21 days of the date of publication of this notice.
