NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an application was on the 9th day of October 2007 presented to the Ordinary Division of the Royal Court of Guernsey by Zurich Assurance Ltd ("Zurich") and Windsor Life Assurance Company Limited ("Windsor") FOR THE SANCTION BY THE Court under section 44 of the Insurance Business (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002, of a scheme ("the Scheme") for the proposed transfer of long term insurance business by Zurich to Windsor. Copies of an application to the Royal Court and a report on the terms of the Scheme prepared by an Independent Actuary (the "Scheme Report "), two supplementary reports to the Scheme Report prepared by the Independent Actuary and a summary of the Scheme Report and its supplementary reports can be accessed at www.zurich.co.uk/windsor from the date of publication of this notice until the date on which the Application will be heard before the Court and are available for inspection at all reasonable times at the offices of Ozannes, 1 Le Marchant Street, St Peter Port, Guernsey, GY1 4HP.
Copies of the documents referred to above will also be furnished, free of charge, upon request to the address below or by calling 0845 601 7669 by Zurich Assurance Ltd to any person requiring them prior to the making of an Order sanctioning the Scheme.

The Application is listed for hearing before the Ordinary Division of the Royal Court of Guernsey on the 25th day of March 2008 at 10:15am. Any person who alleges that he or she would be adversely affected by the carrying out of the Scheme may appear at the time of the hearing in person or by his or her Advocate, in which case he or she is requested to give two clear days' notice in writing with the grounds of objection to the Advocates named below. Any policyholder who dissents from the Scheme but does not intend to attend the hearing should give written notice, not less than two clear days prior to the date of the hearing, of such dissent, and of the reasons for that dissent, to the Advocates named below.
